Welcome Aboard!

Our mission is to provide a marine transport service that is convenient, economical and environmentally friendly with water taxi and scheduled services; as well as offer unique tour and educational experiences of our Salish Sea.

Welcome to Sea Star EcoCruising Society!

The purposes of the Society are to:

​

  • Provide reliable community marine transportation to the people of Piers Island and neighbouring Islands

​

  • Support educational touring and access to marine parks within our Salish Sea.


 

Become a Sea Star Member!

Once you are a Sea Star Member, you can book a tour, charter or the water taxi.

If you are a Sea Star Member and a resident of Piers Island you can gain access to the Piers Island Shuttle service (and SAVE money) by purchasing a minimum of one of our many pre-sale pass options by May 31, 2024.

After the purchase of a minimum of one punch pass, you can choose to pay-as-you-go.

OUR FIRST
FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

(effective June 1, 2024)
After 25 years of operating as a private business, services are now owned and managed by Sea Star EcoCruising, a non-profit society. As we launch our first season with rising and unknown costs coming ahead, we are looking to our community for support.
 
For example, we are in need of a new boat trailer to best move and manage our two boats!

You can help us with our Inaugural Fundraiser by becoming a Founding Sea Star Member!
